Located in Brighton, Istanbull Katz forms part of a thoughtful hospitality family created by the founder of Munchies Craft Cat Café and the soon-to-open Purrfect Space, a co-working and event space designed around rescue cats. Every project we create is guided by the same belief: if we are building businesses, we should also be creating meaningful ways to give back.
Inspired by the depth and elegance of Istanbul’s culinary heritage, Istanbull Katz offers a contemporary interpretation of Turkish cuisine, one that moves beyond the expected and reveals the wider, more refined landscape of the country’s food culture. Our menu is shaped by the seasons and inspired by Istanbul’s kitchens, balancing vegetable forward dishes with thoughtfully prepared plates that honour tradition while embracing a modern, lighter touch.
The kitchen is led by a highly experienced chef from Istanbul, bringing authenticity, consistency, and deep knowledge of Turkish food to every dish. The menu changes throughout the year, allowing ingredients and seasonality to naturally guide what we serve, while always maintaining a high standard of quality and care.
Beyond the table, Istanbull Katz carries a deeper purpose. Every meal contributes to supporting cats in Istanbul, a city where care for street cats is part of everyday life. This commitment is quietly woven into the dining experience, allowing guests to make a difference simply by being here.
